During the past 12 years, Damon has supported the operations for large regional and global companies by leading digital transformation. His experience and leadership have been focused on developing efficient organizations in both the corporate and non-profit sectors.
For almost two decades Damon led one of the fastest growing ministry organizations in Oklahoma. This organization provided community education, assistance to underserved populations, and leadership development. This organization also built and maintained programs for drug rehabilitation, orphanages, women’s vocational training and child advocacy globally. Damon was an associate trainer for leadership expert, Dr. John C. Maxwell, and trained more than 5,000 business leaders in India, Kuwait, and Russia.
The fun stuff:
Damon has perpetual wanderlust. He has travelled to 47 US states and more than 20 countries in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. His favorite memory includes sharing a meal with a New Delhi family on their rooftop. Sitting under the night sky with the sounds of the city as a backdrop has always been one of Damon’s top travel experiences.
If he had a second life, he would hoist a backpack, explore every culture out there, and write for the Lonely Planet. His interest in other cultures extends to food. Since he can’t eat his way across the globe (maybe when he retires), for now he cooks and shares international recipes with others.
Damon loves writing and inspiring others. He is currently reviving his podcast, It’s Up to You, which shares words of hope to those who feel left behind in a changing world. The messages shared on this podcast aim to help individuals restore passion, reduce stress, and refocus priorities. He has four adult children who are involved with creating art, music and inspiring creativity in others which make Damon a very proud papa.
