Sara obtained her J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon and is a member of the Oregon State Bar. She also holds degrees in Psychology and Creative Writing from the University of Arizona. In law school, Sara studied animal and criminal law and received an animal rights scholarship. She was also an Associate Editor for Animal Law Review, in the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund, and President of the Women in Criminal Law student group. She has experience in cognition and memory focused labs and is the Vice Chair for a global climate action nonprofit.
