On December 1, 2022, the Center for Contemporary Sciences (CCS) hosted its second Discovery Forum. The event was an opportunity to discuss the updates on human-relevant methods that can replace animal testing and the FDA Modernization Act 2.0. Speakers across industry and academia met to give their takeaways on how to improve the drug development process. Featured speakers were Paul Locke, DrPH, JD, MPH, Yaakov Nahmia, PhD, Alex Armento, MS, Danny Levner, PhD, and Itedale Namro Redwan, PhD. All panelists emphasized that collaboration is critical for advancing human-relevant technology.
