Alex Lockwood is a BAFTA-winning Director from the UK whose films seek to shine a light on issues that aren’t given attention within mainstream media. Alex has won numerous awards for films such as 73 Cows, Monbiot: Arresting the Truth, and Test Subjects. His films have screened within the European Parliament in order to inspire positive change in agricultural law. He recently completed his first feature film as a director. ‘The End of Medicine’ is a collaboration with actors Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara, and Producer Keegan Kuhn. The film was tipped for an Oscar by Variety Magazine and peaked at no.5 on Apple’s most-watched documentary list. Alex is also embarking upon his first role as an Executive Producer on ‘Martha’, a documentary highlighting the efforts of local people trying to clean up the mess left by oil spills along the Niger Delta in Nigeria.
